Meet Ruth Staples
Ruth A. Staples was born in Detroit, Michigan. She was educated in Detroit Public Schools and attended Wayne State University.
In 1974 she went to work for Employer's Temporary Service, Inc. whereupon she handled the company's Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable accounts. The company only supplied Industrial temporary staffing at that time.
In 1985 she undertook the task of creating the first Clerical Division at Employer's Temporary Service. This division grew to 4 additional Clerical Branch offices while under her supervision. Branches were located in Detroit, Troy, Southfield and Southgate Michigan. There are also two additional clerical offices in New York State based upon the Detroit model.
Ruth has a strong and active knowledge in the personnel industry with over 26 years of experience in the field. She is currently the President and CEO of Scott Group, LLC located in Royal Oak, Michigan. She is involved on a daily basis in the administration of the company and is it's Chief Financial Officer.
Ruth is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and the Michigan Association of Staffing Services (MASS). She has done Branch and Division Management in addition to sales supervision having completed sales technique training through the Dale Carnegie Institute.
Mrs. Staples resides in Detroit with her husband, a retired Detroit Police Officer. She has two daughters and two sons.
